WB Was Working With a Theoretical Physicist on The Flash Movie

If you need any more confirmation that The Flash is going to involve time travel and be some kind of adaptation of Flashpoint, here’s a really big clue.

Clifford Johnson, the theoretical physicist who helped shape the time travel in Ageners: Endgame, was working on WB’s The Flash movie (with the previous writers); he revealed in an interview with IndieWire.

Even though changing the future by affecting the past is something Avengers: Endgame said couldn’t happen, the idea of alternate timelines and the multiverse is absolutely something that can fit in with The Flash and its rumored “soft reboot” of the DCEU that will bring Michael Keaton’s Batman into the same universe as Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

The Flash is scheduled to have a panel at DC FanDome on August 22nd, so perhaps we’ll learn more about the big screen version of Flashpoint then.
